We came from Seattle and was told to try Swifts. Was the best service and great atmosphere to eat...the steak and eggs were perfect...we will stop here again next time we are here

I had totally forgotten about how great this place is. Nice portions and excellent prices. Need to return soon.

Swift's Breakfast is a hidden gem in downtown Denver. My fiance and I were looking for a quick bite to eat, and we don't like going to chain restaurants much. We found Swift's on a Google search and decided we had to check it out. The restaurant is on a pretty quiet street, but the diner was buzzing with customers. The service staff is so friendly and accomodating, you feel like a true guest in the restaurant. I was going to give this place 4-stars, but the amazing prices of the food made me give them 5-stars. You can get a great meal and great service for an amazing price. I highly recommend checking out Swift's Breakfast House if you get the chance!

Amazing waitresses! Food was good. Very small town home cooked feel. Took a good while to get our food once our order was placed.

My husband and I stopped here for an early breakfast after looking at nearby recommendations. Swifts came up with a good star rating so we gave it a try. Upon arriving, you are greeted at the door with a seat yourself sign. We found our seats and waited for less than 5 minutes before our waitress came over. She was an older woman. Not mean but certainly not friendly. After our order was taken, drinks were bought back. 15 minutes later my husband noticed a roach crawling across the floor. That should have been our first clue to leave. Against our better judgment, we chalked it up to the party who had just been seated. Maybe they bring it in. Our food took about 25 minutes to come. I took 2 bites out of my pancakes, which were delicious (reason for 2 stars) only to notice hair in my husband’s plate that did not belong to either of us. We immediately asked for the bill, paid and left. Never again!!!

If anyone remembers the Swift's on S. Broadway over 15 yrs. ago , then you'll remember the one Santa Fe . Almost the same layout ; narrow , cramped , and very bad parking . The staff seems as hard-boiled as the eggs . The only thing that has changed is the location , & a slight increase in prices . It's a very mixed , blue- collar crowd . It's not 'jelly's' ,or 'snooze' . It's the kind of place where a regular will come in , and talk to the waitress like there old friends . A customer comes in with an elderly man ,and both the man , and waitress call him 'Grandpa' . Where one table will buy another tables meal . Yeah , it's that kind of place . I miss those kind of places . Here is a picture of the meal that was bought for me by another customer (?) back in March . Thank You . You payed for my meal the the waitress got a good tip .

Love the place. Been eating there for over 25 years. Good food. Good service. Not for the tofu & kale & East Coast attitude crowds. Hearty, "meat 'n potatoes" type menu. Their chicken fried steak is great as a lunch meal or for breakfast with 2 eggs, toast and hash browns for a very reasonable price. If they were open later, I'd eat there even more often. But, they do an awesome job before closing at 3PM. So, I'm content with that.

Generous portions, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. I ordered thr big breakfast with French toast. It was delicious and was served within 8 minutes. Paid around $10.00

I absolutely loved and enjoyed SWIFTS BREAKFAST!! THE BREAKFAST WAS SIMPLY DELICIOUS!! AND THE SERVICE and staff was AMAZING And I would recommend anyone traveling to Denver Colorado to definitely stop and enjoy the delicious breakfast is that they have an amazing hospitality. If local, family owned, affordable and unbelievably delicious are what you're looking for, this place is perfect! It's hard to notice from the street. I've driven by it hundreds of times, and never knew about it until today. I'm kicking myself that I didn't find it years ago, cuz I cost myself many, many lost opportunities for an awesome breakfast. Give Swift's a shot, you won't regret it!

We are visiting from Texas and we are happy we found this great old school neighborhood cafe. Group of old guys having fun taking and laughing. Our waitress is sweet and awesome.

The have great chilli here. Clean, friendly and good food. The price is very reasonable. Been one of our favorite restaurant for years.

Has an old school diner feel to it. Small space that seem to attract regular customers. Very quick service, food was very typical for a diner (greasy and big portions).

Found this place by accident and I'm so glad we did. From the moment me and my two exhausted children walked in we were treated like family. The entire staff was friendly and warm. Even the other customers were super kind. It's the kind of place you want to visit over and over again until the people there really are a part of your life. And the food is delicious. Generous portions, thoughtful plating, good prices. If you are in the area, go get some food here. You will not regret it.

The food and staff here are always amazing. They just freshened up the look inside and the food was still just as good. Always a must stop when coming to Denver.

The French toast is delicious. The prices are good. Friendly staff. Can't ask for much better. The roasted jalapenos are a nice addition to any meal.. Great food, great service and excellent value. This diner (minus the references to green chili) would be right at home anywhere back east throughout PA NJ or NY. This is the highest compliment I can give. Portion sizes are large, prices are cheap, waitresses are awesome. Great coffee, and usually a crowd. Not the kind of crowd that would make you look for another place to eat, the kind of healthy crowd where you might have to wait a few minutes for a table but who cares, there's a reason it's full almost every time I go. Stopped in because they advertise a chili dog, as an east coaster I had to try it out. It's an adequate enough chili dog, but seriously, you go here for an amazing breakfast.
